Don Bosco English Medium School Savedi teachers brought to their students the opportunity to display their kinesthetic skills by organizing annual online sports festival from 14th to 19th December 2020.
The online sports festival was divided into three pools named as A, B and C.
Pool A had Minute to Win games such as Stack attack, Skipping, Bag packing, flip cup, separating gems, face the cookies, cup relay race, flip the pencil in the cup, balloon cup pyramid and more.
Pool B had Athletics sports such as self-run for 3 minutes, push up for 1 minute, skipping 1 minute, rolling sit up, rotation exercise of body parts in 1 minute and many more.
Pool C had online games such as Chess and Carrom.
The games were organized as per section of Kindergarten, Primary, Upper primary and secondary section and the rules were adjusted as per their age. Every participant had to participate in minimum of three games from every pool. They registered themselves through Google registration forms. The participants also had to keep the camera on during the sports. An overall champions trophy was awarded to the best boy 1.Path Paliwal (secondary section) 2.Aayush Birajdar (primary section) and best girl 1.Snehal Gunki (secondary section) 2. Kusum Das (primary section). The winners were appreciated with the certificates. The students and teachers had a lot of fun especially while conducting a Minute to win games. It was a novel way to keep up the spirits of the students in the pandemic time. The teachers were grateful to their Principal Fr Justus Mendis for taking up this novel initiative and the management for their support. It was a great experience for all the teachers and students for making the event a grand success. Truly, sports empower each one of us in its own unique way.
